For 89 years, First Baptist Church has enjoyed worship and service in Ville Platte. Our congregation is a blend of people of different ages and backgrounds. Although we are all different, we are alike in our belief and purpose. We believe that we can all live in these times with hope and peace. We believe that this can come only through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. God loves everyone unconditionally. We, as individuals and as a church, believe the purpose of First Baptist Church is to tell our community about God's love. In fulfilling this purpose, we offer a variety of programs for every age.
